Civic Engagement
Poll worker training, absentee ballot assistance center, election hotline, Korean American or Asian American early voting days, political education, candidate forums centering local and state offices, community survey with 1500 responses across Texas, intergenerational community building through curation and publishing of op-eds by second generation immigrants to reach parents, grandparents, and other elders.
Language Justice
Outreach, services, organizing, and advocacy accessible in Korean and in English and increasingly, Vietnamese, Chinese, Tagalog. Translation of election material about candidates, issues, and propositions into Korean, use of Korean ethnic media (reaching over 10,000 readers) to address issues impacting our communities and to get out the vote (GOTV), in language phone banking.
