Rental Equipment & Service Program


Members of our community will be able to request equipment rentals and services for various events and activities. You can use this form to submit your requests. Provide detailed information about your needed resources, including quantity, rental duration (if applicable), and budget.


We have standardized and subsidized our rates because our mission is to make these rental and/or services accessible to those who otherwise could not access high-quality equipment and/or language support. Our key objective is to enable the vital work you do for your clients and communities while ensuring dignified and livable wages for the interpreters, translators, and/or performers doing this work! 


By submitting this form, you confirm that you are a member of our organization/community, and the resources you asked for will be used solely for internal purposes by our policies and guidelines. Internal staff prioritizes organizational equipment and services.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I submit a request rental equipment or request services?

Services requests (translation and performances) must be made at least 14 business days before the start of the service duration. Rental equipment requests must be made at least 7 - 14 business days before the start of the rental duration. A staff member will reach out to follow up regarding your request within 1-3 business days.

How do I cancel or make any changes to my rental or service requests?

To cancel or make changes start of rental and service, please contact Woori Juntos at least 48 hours in advance of the start date via email or phone. For cancellations made within 48 hours, individuals will be charge and pay consecutive interpreters, translators, and/or performers for a 1 hour minimum because the time consecutive interpreters, translators, and/or performers plan to be on-call is time that they cannot take other paid projects.

How do I provide payments for the rentals or services?

All service request payments will be made out to multiple parties, including but not limited:

1) The individual(s) providing the direct service (The hourly rates)

2) Woori Juntos for coordinating (20% admin fee). A 20% administrative fee will contribute to Woori Juntos, and you can choose where the funds can support the organization's work.

How is the revenue earned being used at Woori Juntos?

The majority of the revenue earned through our labor goes toward providing income opportunities to financially vulnerable translators, interpreters, and/or performers, who are often im/migrants, refugees, or people with high risk of being deportee to ensure that the work of our collective can remain sustainable, accessible, and of the highest quality.

If I have urgent labor requests with less than 72 hours notice, what should I expect?

Urgency labor for requests with less than 72 hours notice, we charge a fee to cover the delivery associated with providing high-quality work with little time. An additional 50% fee of the total cost will be charged.

What equipment(s) can I rent and what is the costs?

Bullhorn: $15 - 25 per day

Button Maker: $10 - 20 per day

Counting Clicker(s): $2 per day

Clipboard(s): $3 per day

Extension Cord(s): $5 per day

HDMI Cord: $15 per day

Interpretation Device(s): $10 per receiver [earphone/device set allowing individual to hear a translated language] per day (maximum of requesting 50) and $50 per transmitter [a device for an interpreter to speak into; determines # of interpreted languages] per day (maximum of requesting 4)

Presentation Clicker: $10 per day

What are the list of services and the cost for those services?

Black & White Printing: $0.10 per page

Korean Drummers Performance: $100 per hour per performer

Consecutive interpreting interviews, court cases, hearings, or other meetings/interviews for which an in-person interpreter is needed (Note: Additional charge a 1-hour minimum in addition to a $40 flat rate travel fee): $100 - $140 per hour

Subtitling end-to-end subtitling work, including transcription, translation, time-stamping, and subtitle embedding: $25 - $35 per minute

Translation on documents that are primarily text: $0.10 - 0.60 per word, depending on the language and availability of translators

Translation on documents with less text but require significant formatting (i.e., birth and death certificates, flyers, presentations): $30 - $50 per page

Transcription and translation of audio or video: $100 - $150 per audio/video hour

Voice Recording: from a script, for videos, or audio accompaniment for presentations: $50 - $60 per audio/video hour

Project Management: for complex projects (involving four languages or more, ten pages or more). An immense amount of labor goes into ensuring the highest quality translation (including recruiting, vetting, training, providing emotional support for translators, formatting, and proofreading). An additional 15% - 25% fee of the total cost will be charged

How do I submit payment for services?

When you have submitted your request, a staff member will reach out to you and confirm all the information that was provided in the form. In addition, a drafted invoice will be provided prior to the start of the service and/or rental to make sure the payment meets your budget.
