We are excited to introduce the Seniors In Action: Civic Engagement Fellowship explicitly designed for Korean American seniors aged 60+ living in Houston, Texas. Our goal is to develop and implement a comprehensive civic engagement strategy that will significantly boost Korean and Asian American voter turnout in Texas.

Professional Development
Cultivate essential skills in phone banking, text banking, and canvassing to effectively engage with voters.

Empower and mobilize community members residing in senior housing, ethnic markets, and places of worship to participate actively in the democratic process.
What to Expect?
Throughout the fellowship, participants will engage in interactive workshops, education on technology equipment, training sessions, community focus groups, healthcare-related sessions, community outreach activities, learning more about engaging with local officials, and more! We will provide hands-on guidance and support to help you become confident and proficient in voter engagement techniques.
When you complete the online application, a staff member will reach out to you within 3 - 5 business days to schedule a one-hour interview to learn more about what you are interested in getting involved with.

Fellows are provided financial compensation for around 20 hours per week.
